Walking has many benefits and can help you to get your research in perspective without taking up too much of your time. The University of Manchester has teamed up with the Ramblers Association to bring all staff and students the opportunity to take part in Fitness Manchester Walks. By coming along to an organised walk you can learn more about the benefits of walking, discover the hidden spaces of Manchester and follow a 12-week walking plan on one of their Get Walking Keep Walking programmes.
