The John Rylands University Library Seminars
This post follows on from my recent post about the fantastic training opportunities available this semester at the John Rylands University Library. The library has scheduled two seminars which might be of interest to PGRs in the second/third year of their thesis. They are aimed at those who want to communicate, publish and establish their research.
‘Open Access: Setting you research free’ is to be held Wednesday 27 October here at the Main Library in the Seminar Room. The session will be taken by Amanda Hodgson from the Centre for Research Communications based at the University of Nottingham.
The ‘Elsevier Author Workshop’ will take place Friday 5 November in Mansfield Cooper G21. This session will be led by Arthur Eger from Elsevier and our very own Professor David Watts in his capacity as editor-in-chief of a peer reviewed journal.
Both sessions can be booked via the Library web site or the University portal. There is limited availability so please book early.
