THE ONLY SOURCE OF KNOWLEDGE IS EXPERIENCE—ALBERT EINSTEIN
Tell us what you think and help us to improve our postgraduate provision! The Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) is a national online survey that asks you about different aspects of your postgraduate research programme. It is run by the Higher Education Authority and is designed to help universities improve the quality of postgraduate research degree provision in the future by collecting feedback from current students.
Why is it important? We want to make sure that postgraduate research (PGR) students at the University of Manchester have the best possible experience during their postgraduate degree. To do this we need to know what you think we are doing well and if there is anything we could be doing better.
How do I take part? All eligible postgraduate research students have received an email via eProg and other sources inviting them to complete the survey, which will remain open until 17 May. The email includes the individual’s unique PRES username and password.
The survey can be accessed via: http://www.survey.bris.ac.uk/manchester/pres2011
What will happen with the results? The results will be taken seriously by senior academics responsible for supporting and developing the experience for PGR students at the University. Survey results will be cascaded down to PGR students for information and further comment via Schools and Faculties, and the STEPS Newsletter.
