Dina Matar is Associate Head, Centre for Media Studies. She works on cultural activism, political communication, social and political movements and cultural politics in the Arab World with a particular focus on Palestine and Lebanon. She is co-author of the “Hizbullah Phenomenon: Politics and Communication”, Hurst and OUP, 2014 and author of “What it means to be Palestinian: Stories of Palestinian Peoplehood”, I B Tauris, 2010
