Trajectories 2016 is a one-day conference for PhD students from the North West. The theme for the conference this year is Trajectories. This theme reflects the aim of the conference to provide an opportunity to engage with doctoral researcher at different stages of the PhD process, but also to provide an opportunity to look ahead and think about the different directions academic work can take. Our panel of speakers will be academics sharing their experiences of a caree1r in sociological research.
We welcome papers from doctoral students in sociology and in other disciplines whose research touches on sociological themes.
This conference aims to provide a supportive atmosphere for students at all stages of their PhD from first time presenters to those who are nearing completion of their thesis. Trajectories 2016 provides an open space to present and discuss your theory, findings or methods with an audience of peers.
