The Social and Political Inequalities Research Cluster will be having their first official meeting of the academic year on Monday 17th October at 17.30 on the 4th floor foyer of the Arthur Lewis Building. This will be an informal meeting to get to know new members. Tea and biscuits will be provided!
We are a group of PhD students based in the school of social science who are interested in the research of socially and politically marginalised groups. We recently hosted a one day inter-disciplinary conference at the University of Manchester, supported by the North West Doctoral Training Centre, entitled: ‘The politics of marginalised groups in the UK and Ireland: Perspectives and approaches’. We are planning more events for this academic year and encourage new members to come along and join us!
