Confident body language. Think about how a confident person may hold themselves? How do they stand, what does their posture or body language tell you? Confident body language is usually relaxed and open, not aggressive or closed. Try observing body language and changing you own body language to reflect a more confident posture. Crossed arms can inhibit our confidence so keep arms uncrossed and at the side of the body rather than defensively folded. Consider a smile as this demonstrates that you’re friendly and approachable. It also can be used to hide our nerves or the things we feel less confident about. Smiling can instantly make us feel more positive and this can generate confidence.
