Seek opportunities to develop. Confidence development can be thought of as ‘what we put in is what we get out’. We can learn a lot from watching others and finding ways to copy or practice this ourselves. We can also utilise the training available to us by pin-pointing exactly what is needed; how much of it and by when in order to reach our confidence goal. Reflection and visualisation can help us to define what it is we need and ask ‘what good looks like?’ Think about what do confident people do? How do they behave and what characteristics do they have that makes them confident? This can make an excellent starting point for your own development to seek out training opportunities to help support your confidence needs and confident goal.
