The ESRC’s North West Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership and MethodsNW are joining forces for the annual Methods X Conference to provide the region’s students with an opportunity to explore their research and underpinning methodology in a supportive and interdisciplinary environment. The conference aims to stimulate the sharing of ideas and to help students build up methods-related networks with researchers working in complimentary areas.
The 4 themes are Quantitative methods, Fieldwork, New Forms of Data and finally Archives and Collections. Descriptions of the themes are available on the MethodsNW website.
Organised and managed by students with support from experienced staff, we are calling for participants to help our existing teams with the running of the conference and, of course, to present papers. If you are interested in getting involved, or simply submitting a paper (abstract up to 500 words by 1700, September 3rd 2018), please email the contact in the relevant stream (see list of contacts below) or simply submit your abstract here.
*NOTE: PGR Theme Leaders are still needed for the ‘Archives and Collections’ and ‘Quantitative Methods’ themes – see below for contact details.
